Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Creamy Sauce

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the chicken
    Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper. Cook until fully done, then dice into bite-size pieces.
  3. Steam the broccoli
    Steam broccoli until crisp-tender. Do not overcook.
  4. Prepare the sauce
    In a large bowl, mix together:
    • sour cream
    • mayonnaise
    • chicken broth
    • thyme and basil
    • garlic powder & onion powder
    • salt & pepper
    • half of the shredded cheese
  5. Combine
    Add chicken and broccoli to the sauce and mix well.
  6. Assemble
    Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top.
  7. Bake
    Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
    Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top (optional).
