- 4 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 4 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Creamy Sauce
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). - Cook the chicken
Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper. Cook until fully done, then dice into bite-size pieces. - Steam the broccoli
Steam broccoli until crisp-tender. Do not overcook. - Prepare the sauce
In a large bowl, mix together:
- sour cream
- mayonnaise
- chicken broth
- thyme and basil
- garlic powder & onion powder
- salt & pepper
- half of the shredded cheese
- Combine
Add chicken and broccoli to the sauce and mix well. - Assemble
Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top. - Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top (optional).
