Ingredients

For the Chicken Skewers

  • 600 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • wooden skewers (soaked in water)

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp lime juice

For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • 800 g potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the chicken

In a bowl, toss chicken cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well coated.

Thread the chicken onto soaked wooden skewers.

2. Cook the chicken skewers

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden and fully cooked.

3. Make the Bang Bang sauce

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, sriracha, and lime juice until smooth and creamy.

Brush or toss the cooked chicken skewers with the sauce until evenly coated.

4. Prepare the mashed potatoes

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 12–15 minutes.

Drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth and creamy.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Serve

Serve the glazed chicken skewers hot with a side of garlic mashed potatoes.
