Ingredients
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 lobster tails
- salt and black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 3 tbsp herb butter
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups shaved Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the shrimp
Season shrimp with salt, black pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 5–7 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the lobster
In the same skillet, add herb butter with 2–3 tablespoons of water to create a light poaching liquid. Add lobster tails and cook gently until the meat becomes tender and opaque.
Remove lobster meat from shells and cut into bite-sized pieces.
4. Prepare the creamy sauce
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté briefly until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently. Stir in Parmesan cheese and remaining herb butter until smooth and creamy.
Add chopped parsley and mix well.
5. Combine and serve
Return shrimp and lobster pieces to the skillet. Add cooked fettuccine and toss gently until fully coated in the creamy sauce.
Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
