Ingredients

  • 1 box high-protein angel hair pasta (such as Barilla Protein+)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Optional:

  • squeeze of lemon juice
  • chili flakes
  • grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the high-protein angel hair pasta according to package instructions.

Drain and set aside.

2. Prepare the asparagus

Bring a small pot of water to a boil.

Add asparagus and blanch for 2–3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

Drain and rinse quickly with cold water to keep the vibrant color.

Set aside.

3. Cook shrimp in Air Fryer

Pat shrimp dry and season with:

  • olive oil
  • garlic salt
  • dried basil
  • black pepper

Place shrimp in air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.

4. Combine ingredients

In a large bowl, mix:

  • cooked pasta
  • air fryer shrimp
  • asparagus

Drizzle with olive oil and toss gently.

Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.

Add lemon juice if desired.

5. Serve

Serve warm or store in containers for meal prep.
