Honey Lime Chicken & Avocado Rice Bowl (High Protein Healthy Meal)

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Rice Base

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 avocado, diced

Honey Lime Sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • pinch chili flakes (optional)

Garnish (optional)

  • fresh cilantro, chopped
  • lime wedges

Instructions

1. Cook the chicken

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Season diced chicken with salt and black pepper.

Cook chicken for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked.

2. Prepare the honey lime sauce

In a small bowl, mix honey, lime juice, minced garlic, and chili flakes if using.

Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and cook for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened and well coated.

3. Prepare the rice base

Place cooked rice in serving bowls.

Top with diced avocado.

4. Assemble the bowl

Add honey lime chicken over the rice.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges if desired.
