🧾 Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp powdered milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Warm milk or water (as needed)

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef, cooked with onion and seasonings
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Parmesan)

Optional Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Add oil and gradually pour in warm milk or water while kneading until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

2. Cook the Beef Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions, then add the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices. Cook until fully browned. Let cool slightly.

3. Shape the Bites

Divide the dough into small equal balls. Flatten each ball slightly and place a spoonful of the beef filling inside. Seal well and shape into smooth balls.

4. Assemble

Place the dough balls seam-side down on a greased baking tray. Make a small indentation on top of each and add a little cheese.

5. Add Garlic Butter (Optional)

Mix melted butter with garlic and parsley, then brush over the tops for extra flavor.

6. Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 375–400°F (190–200°C) for about 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
