High-Protein Low-Carb Broccoli Cheese Bites (Healthy Snack)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed and finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp unflavored whey protein isolate (optional for extra protein)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • cooking spray or a small amount of oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the broccoli

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Steam broccoli for 2–3 minutes until tender.

Drain well and pat dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Finely chop the broccoli.

2. Mix the ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine:

  • chopped broccoli
  • cheddar cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • eggs
  • whey protein (optional)
  • garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Mix until well combined.

3. Shape the bites

Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and shape into small balls or small patties.

Place on a lined baking tray.

Lightly spray with cooking oil.

4. Bake until golden

Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and slightly crispy on the edges.

Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
